1. What is DropHero?

DropHero is an AI-assisted app for Shopify merchants. Paste a Facebook Ads Library URL as creative reference, review AI-generated product and ad content, then publish to your Shopify store and/or your connected Meta (Facebook) advertising account.

2. Is DropHero suitable for beginners?

Yes. DropHero uses a guided workflow: paste a Facebook Ads Library URL, review AI-generated drafts, and publish when you are ready. You do not need design skills, but you are responsible for reviewing content before it goes live.

3. What URL can I import?

DropHero accepts public Facebook Ads Library URLs (https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/?id=...). You must have the rights to use the reference content. Arbitrary websites and other store URLs are not supported.

4. How does DropHero connect to Shopify?

Install DropHero from the Shopify App Store. Your store connects automatically during install. DropHero uses Shopify's official APIs to create and publish products after you review and approve the content.

5. Do I need a Meta (Facebook) account?

Only if you want to publish ads to Meta. You can publish products to Shopify without connecting Meta. To publish ads, connect a Meta Business account with an ad account, Facebook Page, and pixel in Settings → Connected Accounts.

6. Do I need to manually design the ads?

No design software is required. DropHero generates ad and product drafts from your reference. You should review, edit, and approve all content before publishing to ensure it matches your brand and complies with platform policies.

7. How do credits and billing work?

New accounts include 5 free credits. Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify. One credit is typically used per successful publish. Paid plan charges are approved in Shopify Admin.

8. Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can cancel from your account dashboard. Shopify-billed merchants manage and approve charges in Shopify Admin. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

9. How many languages are supported?

DropHero supports translation for many common languages used in ecommerce and advertising, including major European languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Italian) and others. Select your target language during the workflow.

10. Is my store data secure?

Yes. We use encryption and security measures to protect your data. DropHero does not collect or store Shopify buyer customer PII. We are committed to GDPR and applicable data protection requirements.

11. Is this compliant with Meta's ad policies?

You are responsible for ensuring your ads comply with Meta's advertising policies and that you have rights to use reference content. DropHero helps you create and review drafts; it does not replace your obligation to follow Meta and Shopify rules.

12. What happens if I uninstall DropHero?

If you uninstall DropHero, existing ads you published to Meta may continue running in Meta Ads Manager, but DropHero will no longer create new content automatically. Your Shopify store data is not deleted by uninstalling the app.

13. How do I get support?
